Our Lady of Knock, also known as the Knock Shrine or Cnoc Mhuire in Irish (Hill of Mary) is a pilgrimage site in the west of Ireland in County Mayo after an apparition of the Virgin Mary appeared to as many as 25 people in 1879. This statue pays homage to the vision and is a treasure to be cherished. The Our Lady of Knock statue is Made by Belleek China of fine parian porcelain with 24 carot gold accents in the crown, heart, and lettering at the base. Belleek China has been one of Ireland's most important and renowned porcelain manufacturers since the years following the Great Hunger in the 1850s. Some of their earliest pieces are found in the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. Measures 24cm in height.
